I have a love for the aloe vera plant. For a matter of fact, I enjoy using aloe vera using aloe vera for hair care, skin care and more! In this case, we are going to discuss aloe vera for hair. The aloe vera plant is known to treat many hair and scalp related issues. Especially since it consists of proteolytic enzymes that help with hair growth. These enzymes assists with preventing the formation of clogged pores and encouraging the growth of new skin.

Aloe Vera For Hair Benefits

Treats Dry Scalp & Dandruff
  • Aloe vera contains anti-fungal properties that eliminates inflamed dry scalp. Furthermore, it aids in the prevention of eczema and psoriasis.
Conditioning Treatment
  • As a conditioning treatment it have the ability to leave hair soft and lustrous.
Scalp Stimulant
  • Aloe vera has the ability to unclog pores while giving a soothing and cooling sensation to to the scalp. This aids in healthy hair growth.
Hair Rinse
  • An aloe vera hair rinse will close your hair cuticles shut trapping in moisture. Using aloe vera as a hair rinse will leave your hair soft and shiny.

Scalp and Hair Treatment

Scalp Treatment – Mix ¼ cup of aloe vera with one tablespoon of coconut oil. Apply then message into the scalp for 10 minutes then rinse.

Leave In Conditioner – Incorporate a tablespoon or two of aloe vera with ½ cup of rose water until well blended. Pour it into a spray bottle then mist into hair, style.

Conditioner Soak – Add ¼ cup aloe vera to ½ cup almond or coconut milk, distribute throughout hair then rinse. Use as a final rinse for soft hair.

Dandruff Control – Blend ½ cup aloe vera with a few drops of tea tree oil and ½ cup of lavender or rose water. Apply to to scalp area then let sit in hair for a minimum of 1 hour then rinse.

Hair Cuticle Sealer- seal in moisture and balance ph levels of hair by mixing 50% water to 50% aloe vera. Distribute throughout hair as a final rinse.
