Vegan Pancakes Recipe

If you love pancakes but avoid them because you are dieting or just don’t want them because they are known to have a lot of sugar and fat.  You are going to love these pancakes! Not only do they TASTE SO GOOD, they do not contain all those unnecessary bad unwanted calories. Best of all, they contain no animal fats and is rated VEGAN!

Vegan Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients Needed

2 cups almond milk

1 cups all-purpose flour

11/4 cups wheat flour

2 tsp apple cider vinegar

2 tbsp plus baking powder

1 tbsp unsweetened apple sauce

1/4 cup sugar or agave nectar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp sea salt


Directions

  1. In a large bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Now, make a crater in the middle of the bowl then pour in the almond milk, vinegar, applesauce, agave, and vanilla extract. Mix all ingredients together until blended. (Mixture should be somewhat lumpy, don’t overmix!)
  2. Next, spray the skillet with nonstick cooking spray and set over medium heat (if using griddle set temperature to 325 to 350 Fahrenheit. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto skillet and cook until bubbles begin to form. Then turn the pancake over and cook until heated through. The pancakes should be golden brown. Repeat until you have used up the entire batter.  Enjoy!
