Hi everyone,

I made it to day 7 of fasting which means I am half way through my fasting diet!  March 1st (fasting end date) is right around the corner and approaching quickly! Still hanging in there as usual!

Day 1 to 6 of Fasting

The first 3 days are the hardest to get through when you are eating on a deficient with no meat.

  • Day 1 of fasting I began to feel hungry after 12 hours.
  • By 24 hours I began to feel ok but a little dizzy and somewhat tired, this lasted for about 3 days.
  • I felt more focus and full of energy, not hungry at all on days 4 to 6.  I just ate enough to get through the day mainly greens and veggies in small portions.  I also do yoga at least 3 days a week.

Today

Today, I have been working on building tasty vegan recipes so I can continue to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. The food I will prepare for myself will be only vegan. My husband and kids will stay on a meat-base diet for now. Cooking is one of my greatest passions because I believe in eating healthy meals on a regular is very important. Therefore, on the 1st of March, I will be sharing more of my recipes, so stay tuned!
